1. Your name- Alexandra Berg
2. When and where were you born??? 1979 (yes that’s right the seventies) in Seattle, WA. Grew up on Bainbridge Is., WA.
3. Where did you go to college? Did you play there? Played for Western Washington University – wicked club team!
4. When did you start playing lacrosse? Started playing lax in high school – looked fun! Never stopped…..
5.  Why do you play lacrosse? I play lax because it is challenging and has always been with a great group of women from high school, college, and now with our adult club team.
6. Where have you traveled because of lacrosse? During high school and college I played in Washington, Oregon, Cali and Canada. Now our adult team will travel most places for a good tourney and a good trip! Hawaii, Vail, Cali.
7. Do you have a pre-game tradition? Loud pump up music in the car, a small snack, putting my gloves on – getting my hair into a non-mess state.
8. What’s your favorite food? hmmm….sushi and Indian food for sure!
9.   What is your number one pump up song?? Anything that I know the words to, that has a great beat and is loud!!
10. What is the best advise for someone who have never played lacrosse before? You’ll never stop once you pick up a stick! Don’t get discouraged because cradling feels like the most awkward movement ever! You’ll get over it and never look back.
11. Who is/was your biggest lacrosse mentor? My coach in high school, Tami Tommila and my coach in college Heather Gilmore – they were both Canadian National team players and AWSOME! They pushed us as players and were phenomenal players too. The US National Team has some serious stand-out players. Watch them play!
12. What does the 2010 lacrosse season mean to you? The 2010 season is pretty much going to be rad because our players love the sport and will put everything they have into making this season the best!
